Family (Divorce) Mediation
Mediation is different from advocacy. NEGOTIATION is done for yourself with no one else present. ARBITRATION attempts to decide for those in conflict. ADJUDICATION is a decision that is made by another expert, often a judge or court and is argued by another, usually an attorney. Divorce Mediation starts with a written agreement to work out your differences with the guidance of a professional mediator. The solution is arrived at by the couple and is developed into a written agreement that both develop under the guidance of the mediator.
